All the foreign students celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival together in ICCS in the night of 24th September.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated by the Chinese and some other Asian countries. It is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night. The festival celebrates three fundamental concepts, which are: Gathering, Thanksgiving and Praying. All the students got together as family and friends, to enjoy the harmonious unions and look forward to a good future.
In ICCS, we had a mini-gala with songs and dance to enjoy. What’s more, we prepared the ingredients to make mooncakes. Mooncakes is one of the hallmark traditions of this festival. We, with our hands, made delicious mooncakes to keep this lovely tradition.
Under the brightest moonlight of a year, we spent a nice evening with laughter and joy, we sung, we danced, we laughed and we enjoyed.
